This position reports to the Vice President, Corporate Development and the successful candidate is responsible for supporting Aretia Logistical Solutions business growth both in national and international markets. The successful applicant will identify, cultivate, develop, and build client relationships. Lead development of Government proposals and facilitate the proposal process for specific clients/sponsors including consulting budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract negotiations, and client presentations. Support startup and transition of new and existing contracts and provide recommendations on strategic direction for growing locations CONUS/OCONUS. Provides specific expertise and knowledge of multiple mission areas including satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, communication/C4ISR systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement capture plans and strategies for specific markets, customers, and US Government requirements.
- Develop customer marketing strategies, implement, and provide continual interface with local and national customers as identified
- Lead formulation of standard/routine proposals in conjunction with team members and various functional groups.
- Provide guidance and leadership in development of a budget and price estimates using standard models.
- Develop project plans; define roles and responsibilities and the scope of work for each project with input from sponsors, project leaders, and functional groups.
- Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group i.e. clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations.
- Track and report on the status of proposal components.
- Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
- Provide leadership and support to contract start up, transition, and operation as required
- Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
- Leads corporate communication efforts including internal and external communication. Leads strategy and implementation for web-based content, use of social media, and existing/new internal communication methods.
- Identifies resources required for efforts, develops budgets, plans, and executes on schedule and on budget.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in industry business development and/or research and development arena.
- Experience working on-site with international government and commercial entities in equity investment, new technical development initiatives
- Must have experience leading government engineering services capture and proposals to commercial and non-commercial sponsors.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline required. Master’s Degree in Business, Technical Field, or equivalent is desired.
Clearance
Secret or Higher Clearance desired. Ability to obtain a DoD clearance required.
Program Analyst
The Program Analysis Analyst possesses competence in the rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analysis. Applicants should have sufficient knowledge of applied mathematics to understand and use the fundamental concepts and techniques of operations research methods of analysis. Additionally, the analysts must have experience developing models and simulations.
Minimum Requirement:
- 5+ years’ analytic experience
- Degree: Bachelors Subject: Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics,
- Economics or Management Science, or 10+ years’ commensurate professional experience in DoD Operations Research.
- The contractor must describe the reasons why the experience is commensurate with the responsibilities performed by a Program Analysis Analyst.
- Other: Experience developing DoD models and simulation Knowledge of DoD organizations and structures. Knowledge and understanding of, and practical experience in, the application of quality management techniques.
Desired:
- 10+ years analytic experience including 4+ years OSD/Service staff/Joint Staff experience
- Degree: Masters + Subject: Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Management Science
- Other: Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) requirements and Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs); analysis of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) submissions and data; and development of the Fully Burdened Cost of Energy (FBCE) and Energy Key Performance Parameter (KPP) processes and methodologies. Experience developing Synthetic Theater Operation Research Model (STORM) scenarios; Recognized quality certification a plus. Evidence of ongoing professional development/education. Experience in interacting with senior level managers and decision makers. Operational Military background.
